The Weil McLain CGi Gold Series Induced Draft Gas Boiler is a cast iron water boiler that has a draft-inducing blower on the exhaust flue, which allows it to be direct-vented allowing greater flexibility in installations where the home does not have a chimney or, the chimney is in poor condition. The Weil McLain CGi Boilers feature intermittent electronic ignition so there is not a pilot light constantly burning wasting gas. The CGi Boilers can be fired with either natural gas or, propane, which should be specified when ordering. The CGi Boilers are not available with a domestic hot water coil but will provide ample domestic hot water when used with an indirect water heater. All Weil McLain boilers are factory tested to 50 PSI ensuring that there were no problems with the units before shipping.
Standard Equipment on the Weil McLain CGi Gold Series Induced Draft Gas Boilers include an attractive insulated steel jacket, cast iron boiler sections with a built in air separator, and a boiler control module that controls the intermittent electronic ignition as well as having indicator lights for diagnostic purposes.
