The Victory VSPH boilers are sealed combustion direct vent boilers this means there is no connection between the air inside your home and the air used for combustion. In a boiler that does not have sealed combustion air is drawn in from the home to support combustion typically from 20 to 60 cubic feet per minute. This air, is heated air from your home that is replaced with cold air drawn in from outside. The Slant Fin Victory VSPH Series Gas Boilers have cast iron heat exchangers with the sections connected with push nipples. The heat exchangers use thermal pins in the flue to transfer heat more effectively to the water. The Victory VSPH Series feature an integrated electronic control, which oversees safety as well as the operation of the boiler and provides optimization, and diagnostic indicator functions. The combustion chamber has a thick refractory insulation surrounding the combustion chamber and there is insulation under the jacket surrounding the heat exchanger to minimize heat loss. The Slant Fin Victory VSPH Series Gas Boilers do not require a chimney although an existing chimney can be used for a chase for the flue and air inlet, they can also be vented through the wall or through the roof making the Victory VSPH Series a great choice for both new construction and replacements. The Slant Fin Victory VSPH Series Gas Boilers come with stainless steel burners, roll out switch, 3” air intake port, junction box, boiler drain valve power vent blower and a 3” horizontal flue section attached for easy connection to EZ Seal vent components. The Slant Fin Victory has a condensate drain built into the attached flue section with a drain tube and trap, and has a quick connect wiring harness preventing miswiring and long enough for the circulator to be mounted on either the supply or, return, the burner uses an intermittent pilot with spark ignition to save gas, and the gas valve can be converted in the field from natural gas to propane. The Slant Fin Victory VSPH Series Gas Boilers also come with a pressure switch that works at all elevations, a pressure temperature gauge, and the components selected for the circulation pump, draft inducer, and controls are all widely used name brand components for easy availability. The Slant Fin Victory VSPH Series Gas Boilers come with a 1-Year Parts Warranty on the whole boiler with a Lifetime Parts Warranty on the heat exchanger which is pro rated after 10-Years.
