Samsung offers 43 models of refrigerators that meet the requirements of the Appliance Stimulus Package by carrying the Energy Star seal. Samsung offers Cash for Appliance Qualifying Models in Bottom Freezer, French Door Bottom Freezer, and Side-by-Side refrigerators designs. The Samsung’s refrigerator product line is composed of 76 models of which 43 models carry the Energy Star seal and are eligible for the Appliance Stimulus Rebates of $50 – $200. Later this fall when the individual states receive their Appliance Stimulus Program Rebate funding from the federal government it is estimated that refrigerators will probably be the most commonly replaced appliances. Replacing a refrigerator under the guidelines of the Appliance Stimulus program could save you $100-200 per year on your energy costs. Many of today’s Energy Star models use the equivalent energy a 60-watt light bulb would use. In addition about 50% of the states have existing state and utility rebates that may apply as well.
Samsung offers 7 Side-by-Side refrigerators that are rebate eligible ranging in size from 24 – 27 cu. ft. and in price from the 27 cu. ft. model #RS277ACBP in black with a $1,399.99 MSRP to the 24 cu. ft. model #RSG257AARS in stainless steel with a $2,299.99 MSRP all of which have through the door dispensers and come in black, white, platinum, and stainless steel.
Samsung has 4 Bottom Freezer models eligible for rebates that are from 18.7 cu. ft. to 21 cu, ft. and pricing runs from the 18.7 cu. ft. model #RB195APPP in black that has a MSRP of $899.99 to the 21 cu. ft. model #RB217ABRS in stainless steel that has an MSRP of $1399.99. All of the eligible bottom freezer models come with internal ice and water dispensers and are available in black, white, platinum, and stainless steel finishes.
Samsung also has 26 models with French Doors rebate eligible in sizes from 25.5 cu. ft. to 21 cu. ft. with pricing from the 26 cu. ft. model #RF266ABBP in black and the RF266ABWP in white which have a $1599.99 MSRP up to the 29 cu. ft. model #RFG299AARS in stainless steel with a $3099.99 MSRP. Through the door dispensers are available on 22 of the models with 4 of the model RF266 models only having internal water and ice dispensing. Available colors are black, white, platinum, and stainless steel.
