Peerless Pinnacle Oil Fired Boilers are high efficiency Condensing Boilers that have an efficiency of 91.3% to 92% AFUE depending on the model selected. The high efficiency of the Pinnacle oil fired boilers make them an Energy Star rated boiler that is eligible for Rebates, Grants and Income Tax Credits under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, including a rebate of up to $200 under the Appliance Stimulus Package and Grants of up to $6500 under the Weatherization Assistance Program to those who qualify. The Income Tax Credit allows 30% up to $1500 on Peerless Pinnacle Residential Boilers. In addition many states and utilities have existing rebate programs that may apply in about ½ of the states. These Rebates, Grants and Tax Credits combine to make upgrading to higher efficiency more affordable.
The Peerless Pinnacle Oil Fired Boilers are available in two base models the PO-70, which fires at 0.50 GPH with an input of 70MBH, and the PO-84, which fires at a rate of 0.60 GPH with an input of 84 MBH. Two sub models are available the PO-70A and the PO-84A, which have a longer minimum vent of 25 feet. The Peerless Pinnacle Oil Boilers are supplied with a Beckett AFG Burner. Beckett is an industry leader with oil burners in use around the world including McMurdo Base, Antarctica and in your neighbor’s basement. The Peerless Pinnacle features a Condensing Boiler, which uses as much of the heat in the exhausting flue gases as possible actually condensing the steam in the flue gases to water. This Condensing Boiler is what allows the high efficiency to be reached, and is constructed from stainless steel for protection from corrosive condensate. The Peerless Pinnacle Oil Fired Boilers come with a Peerless Oil Control with an LCD where operating parameters can be set such as temperature set points, multiple set points can be configured, and diagnostics can be performed. The POC #1 oil control is supplied with the unit but 2 other controls are also available depending on your needs such as domestic hot water heating in an indirect water heater and multiple boiler systems.
Additional standard on Peerless Pinnacle Oil Fired Boilers is a 30-PSI relief valve, pressure temperature gauge, pump exerciser, and outdoor reset with an optional sensor installed. The Peerless Pinnacle Oil Fired Boilers also come with a full 1-year warranty, and a limited pro-rated 12-year warranty on the heat exchanger. Optional 5 and 10 year extended plans are available for parts and labor.
Options include horizontal and vertical venting kits, DHW circulator relay, outdoor reset sensor, and the POC #2 and POC #3 oil controls.
