The Lattner Horizontal Tube Scotch Marine Industrial Boilers are available in sizes ranging from 10 – 200 HP in the DBS Steam Series or, the DBW Hot Water Series, low or, high pressure, firing on gas, oil or, dual fuel, with Low NOx burners available for use in areas where required. These boilers are typically used in commercial, industrial and institutional applications at hotels, department stores, malls, colleges and universities, industrial, greenhouses and dry cleaning applications.

The Lattner Boiler Company is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and has been in business since 1918. Lattner manufactures fuel-fired boilers in vertical tubeless steam, and horizontal firetube steam and hot water configurations with sizes ranging from 1.5 hp to 200 hp. Lattner also manufactures electric boilers in horizontal steam, cabinet style steam and hot water, and space saver hot water configurations with sizes ranging from 5 kw to 3600 kw. The Lattner Scotch Marine Boilers features a dry back 3 pass boiler with 2 ½” diameter tubes welded on the 2^nd pass with 5 sq. ft. of surface per horsepower, constructed to ASME Code and registered with the National Board. Larger boilers are supplied with a corrugated furnace for greater heat transfer 100 hp and up, a 12” X 16” access panel for cleaning, servicing, and inspection needs on 80 hp and up, and davited doors on 60 hp and up. Standard equipment on the Lattner Scotch Marine Boilers also includes an ASME safety valve sized and stamped as required by the ASME Pressure Vessel Code, a flanged stack outlet with a thermometer, and 2” fiberglass insulation under the removable painted jacket. The burner packages on the Lattner Horizontal Tube Scotch Marine Boilers include gas both natural and LP, #2 oil, dual-fuel, and low-NOx burners with a 120-volt step down transformer for 3-phase applications, NEMA 1 service and control panels, full-modulation on 60-hp and above, and a solid state flame control with UV sensor and a LED display for fault and run codes. Optional features include fuel/air ratio adjustment with a variable cam, TEFC motors, alarms, lead lag sequence controls, a surface skimmer controlled by either a conductivity blow off control or a timer, and FM, GE GAP, & Kemper Insurance Code compliance.

• Lattner DBW Series Scotch Marine Hot Water Boilers also have as standard equipment a temperature pressure gauge, low water probe and cut off control, with limit temp controls, a manual reset excess temp control, burner control, and low fire hold. Options for temperature set back are available.

• Lattner DBS Series Scotch Marine Steam Boilers also have as standard equipment a water gauge glass with water column blow-down valves, a low water cut off float and pump controls, a low water cut off probe control with manual reset, pressure limit control, burner controls, and a manual reset excess steam control. Options include P6 data with a ASME Code piping package, and night set back.
