The Korky Universal Flapper has been around since 1954. This toilet flapper will fit almost any toilet. The Korky Universal Flapper can be installed and will work with both plastic and brass toilet flush valves.
This Korky Flapper is molded with durable rubber. Installing the Korky Universal flapper also requires no tools. Before installing your toilet bowl flapper you will want to shut the water supply off to the toilet.
To install your new Korky Universal Toilet Flapper you first must remove the old flapper from inside of the toilet tank. Once you have removed the old toilet flapper you will want to remove the new Korky Flapper from the packaging. If you have a plastic flush valve you will want to cut the collar off of the flapper with a pair of scissors. If you have a brass toilet flush valve you will want to keep the plastic collar attached to the Korky Flapper.
If you have a plastic flush valve you will want to attach the mounting arms on the sides of the Korky Flapper to the tabs on the flush valve. You can just push them on with your hands. You can see this in the diagram below. If you have a brass flush valve you can slide the Korky Flapper onto the shaft which can also be seen in the diagram below.
