Jandy Air Energy in-ground pool heat pumps have a titanium heat exchanger for a long service life and a high resistance to pool chemicals and erosion from water flow. They also have a UV resistant plastic cabinet to ensure the cabinet will last in the wet environment outdoors beside the pool area and also because the heat pump in operation will produce 3 to 5 gallons per hour of condensate. Heat pump pool heaters operate at a lower BTU/hr rate than other pool heaters, they run longer to accomplish the task but at a much lower cost.
