How To Clean A Toilet Bowl




The toilet bowl is the most used plumbing fixture in the world and it should be clean as possible to help stop the spread of infection and bacteria. Properly cleaning your toilet bowl can only take a few minutes and can be done with many different soaps and cleansing products. You will always want to use clean water to clean the toilet bowl. You can find many good toilet bowl cleaning products at local big box stores and super markets. You can usually find many good toilet bowl cleaners on sale as well which can save you money.

Now that you have decided to clean your toilet bowl, you will need some cleaning supplies. You will need some clean water, a toilet brush or rag, and some toilet bowl cleaner before you can get started. You will want to clean the inside of the toilet bowl, the toilet seat and also the exterior of the toilet. You will want to clean each area of the toilet very thoroughly so you can have a bacteria free toilet bowl.

You will first want to apply the toilet bowl cleaner to the inside of the toilet bowl and then use the toilet brush or your rag to wipe all the areas of the toilet. You may want to flush the toilet a few times after you have wiped down all of the areas. Flushing the toilet a few times will allow the fresh water inside of the toilet bowl to rinse off all of the toilet bowl cleaner. Once you have cleaned inside the toilet bowl you will now want to clean the outside of the toilet bowl.

In order to clean the exterior of the toilet bowl you will need to take your toilet bowl cleaner and apply it to all areas of the toilet. You will then want to take a wet rag or sponge and wipe down all of the exterior of the toilet. You will want to rinse out the sponge or the rag that you are using a few times while you are wiping down the toilet to ensure that the toilet will be sparkling clean when your all done wiping it down.

Once the exterior and the inside of the toilet bowl are clean it will now be time to clean the toilet bowl seat. You will want to take your toilet bowl cleaner and apply it to the top and the bottom of the toilet seat making sure to cover all of the areas. Let the toilet cleaners soak for a few seconds and then use your sponge or rag and wipe all of the toilet bowl cleaner from the toilet seat. You will also want to rinse the rag or sponge out a few times with fresh clean water as you wipe the toilet seat down. After all areas of the toilet bowl have been cleaned you can use another dry rag and spot dry an areas of the toilet bowl that are still wet or damp.
