Flushing 2-Ply Toilet Paper

There are many types of toilet paper currently being sold in stores all over the world. In the most recent years the softness and the thickness of toilet paper has been changing dramatically. In the old days most toilet paper was only one ply and if you used a bunch the toilet bowl would generally not clog up. With many brands of 2-ply toilet paper now being sold, many people are starting to experience more toilet stoppages then they would when they were using 1-ply toilet tissue.

If you like to use 2-ply toilet tissue you should make sure not to over load the toilet by flushing too much toilet paper at once. When using 2-ply toilet paper you may want to flush the toilet several times with a small amount of two ply paper being flushed each time. If you flush too much toilet paper at once the toilet can become clogged and then you will need a plunger or a snake to clear the stoppage. This can all be avoided by making sure you don’t flush too much toilet paper down the bowl at once.

You can also keep one ply toilet paper in use if you feel the two ply clogs your toilet too easily. You can also try a few different brands of two ply toilet paper as well because not all two ply’s are the same thickness. You may be able to find one that is thicker then one ply but not to think so you will not have to worry about a clogged toilet. The best bet is to buy a few brands and see what type of toilet paper flushes the best in the toilet bowl you currently have. You also could upgrade your toilet bowl to something that has a better flush.
