with a natural thermo trap reducing heat loss by convection when hot water is not in use, stainless steel Incoloy® elements reducing chances of element burnout and providing longer service life versus conventional elements, heavy duty non-CFC foam insulation providing low standby heat loss, a T&P relief valve, thermostat and high limit controls providing an adjustable temperature range, side cold water connection which directs cold water to the bottom of the tank minimizing mixing of cold water with the stored hot water providing maximum availabilities of hot water. While the cost of purchasing a Heat Transfer Products Everlast Electric Water Heater is higher than steel tank water heaters the payback comes at the instant the steel tank water heater would have failed.
