The Empire II features a swing out door allowing access for inspection and cleaning the combustion chamber with its recessed target wall, and has a skim-tapping making skimming the boiler water an easy service task. The Dunkirk Empire II also has options for a tankless coil to be installed for domestic hot water production. The Empire II has a Beckett AFG oil burner supplied as standard equipment but Carlin and Riello burners may also be used.
