C-B Nebraska Boiler is one of the leading Industrial Boiler Manufacturers in the world. First opening in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1921 as a boiler repair company, C-B Nebraska later evolved into one of the leading manufacturers of boilers, and related equipment. They continue operations today as a division of Cleaver-Brooks.
C-B Nebraska’s affiliation with Cleaver-Brooks gives access to over 1500 sales and service reps around the world to provide assistance in sales, training, installation, parts and service. C-B Aftermarket can provide 24/7 emergency response for parts and service minimizing the downtime on your boiler. C-B Nebraska manufactures a full line of industrial boilers with steam capacities from 10,000 to 800,000 lbs/hr with steam temperatures up to 1,050 F, and pressures up to 1,500 psig available. C-B Nebraska Boilers also can provide custom engineered boilers, and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) for applications to recover the heat from turbines from 1 MW – 45 MW in size, incinerators, air heaters, waste heat, and economizers. Nebraska Boilers can also provide economizers, which can provide an efficiency of 5% in most cases, C-B NATCOM Burners, which can match the flame to your furnace geometry reducing the need for refractory thereby lowering NOx emissions, and burner control and management systems to monitor and control burner operations, efficient operation, combustion control, and emissions. C-B Nebraska can provide all of your auxiliary equipment needs and can also provide boilers and equipment for use with alternative energy applications such a solid fuels (wood, sawdust, waste, coal, biomass, etc.), and syngas. C-B Nebraska is ready to provide you needs for compliance with the new EPA MACT rules.
- The C-B Nebraska D-Style Boiler includes 7 designs from the NB-100D up to the NB-700D providing capacities from 10,000 – 300,000+ lbs/hr, at pressures from 200 – 1,500 psig, and steam temperatures up to 1,050 F. The furnace design includes a 100% water-cooled membrane allowing the front and rear walls to be welded and refractory free when used with a C-B NATCOM burner. The D-Style Boiler can be customized with the addition of a single or, dual stage superheater allowing high temperature steam operation.
- The C-B Nebraska A-Style Boiler, which features a vertical gas outlet allowing large steam capacity with a small footprint, the A-Style Boilers have capacities from 10,000 to 275,000 lbs/hr, pressures from 200 – 1,500 psig, and steam temperatures up to 1,050 F, and include the N2S-7S design with its capacity of 60,000 – 175,000 lbs/hr and the N2S-8S design with its capacity of 150,000 – 275,000 lbs/hr. The furnace is a large water-cooled design and the evaporator has a low-pressure drop, which reduces the required fan power. The A-Style Boilers can be fitted with a superheater for high-pressure steam applications.
- The C-B Nebraska O-Style Boiler features the 100% water cooled membrane furnace design of the D-Style allowing the front and rear walls to be refractory free and has vertical gas outlets with the economizer mounted above the boiler, this design allows the O-Style Boilers to have narrow footprint and width. The O-Style’s narrow design allows them to be mounted on a trailer for transport over the road, leading to their becoming very popular as rental boilers. The O-Style Boilers have capacities from 10,000 – 150,000 lbs/hr, with pressures from 200 – 1,500 psig, and steam temperatures up to 1,050 F, including models NOS-1A with its 10,000 – 40,000 lbs/hr capacity, NOS-2A with its 40,000 – 80,000 lbs/hr capacity, and the NOS-3A with its 80,000 – 150,000 lbs/hr capacity. The rental boiler market is sure to increase as many boilers are replaced or refitted to comply with the new EPA MACT rules.
C-B Nebraska offers a 5-Year Limited Pressure Vessel Component Warranty on units sold in North America, to users that have a annual maintenance service contract with their local representative, not all boilers are eligible and you should contact C-B Nebraska Boilers for complete details.
