The Burnham Revolution Gas Boiler is available in 5 sizes with inputs ranging from 62 – 190 MBH and efficiencies from 87 to 88% AFUE. The Burnham Revolution can be direct vented or induced draft. The 87 to 88% efficiency of the Burnham Revolution makes it an Energy Star approved boiler, which in turn makes it eligible for a variety of “Free Money Programs” under the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act. You may receive a Rebate up to $200 from the Appliance Stimulus Package, a Grant up to $6500 from the Weatherization Assistance Program if you qualify, and a 30% Income Tax Credit up to $1500. These “Free Money Programs” are designed to help lower our dependence on foreign energy and to help offset the cost of purchasing and installing new energy efficient heating systems. The Burnham Revolution Gas Boiler has a cast iron boiler that uses a sectional design that is a 2-Pass Boiler with a diamond pin surface in the second pass area that enhances heat transfer. The Revolution uses the Burnham VS300 Injection Control System and Pump, which provides low temperature return water capabilities by eliminating thermal shock concerns and condensation by blending outgoing hot water with returning cold water. The Revolution also has stainless steel burners to ensure they last a long time and stay in good condition maintaining a high efficiency, and is supplied with a step opening gas valve and electronic ignition making burner starts quiet. The boiler is pre piped for primary and secondary loops making it perfect for use in low temperature applications such as radiant heating. The Revolution does not have a domestic hot water coil but can provide abundant hot water when an indirect water heater is installed.
