The Bock SideKick Indirect Water Heater Is available in 5 models or, sizes from 30-gallons up to 110-gallons that can provide ample amounts of domestic hot water when installed in conjunction with a gas or, oil fired boiler. Indirect water heaters have a storage tank where domestic hot water is heated by a coil, which is on a zone from the boiler flowing hot water through the coil to heat the water in the tank. Depending on the size of the boiler and its operating temperature and the size of the indirect water heater installed the Bock SideKick has a first hour delivery of 115-gallons up to 346-gallons with a 77-degree F rise. The Bock SideKick Indirect Water Heater is available in the Model 30SK 30-gallon, 40SK 38-gallon, 50SK 45-gallon, 8OSK 75-gallon, and the 119SK 110-gallon sizes. The SideKick starts out with its construction just like any other Bock Water Heater constructed out of heavy 12 gauge (7/64”) thick steel, then a 1 ½” diameter indirect coil is added to the tank with its large surface area allowing a high rate of heat transfer. The tank and the coil are completely coated with C-glass, which is a cobalt enriched porcelain enamel glass providing a high degree of corrosion resistance further enhanced by the installation of 2 magnesium anode rods. The Bock SideKick tank is surrounded by 2” non-CFC foam insulation providing a standby loss of only .8 to 1.5-degrees F depending on the model and is wrapped in a powder coated steel jacket. The SideKick is provided with dielectric nipples on the coil connections, T&P valve, brass drain valve and an aquastat. The Bock SideKick is provided with a Lifetime Warranty when used in residential applications and a 3-Year warranty when used in commercial applications.
