The Aquabot BJ’s Swimming Pool Cleaner and Filtration System is a great way to clean your pool by letting the power of robotics go to work for you. The Aquabot is self-contained pool cleaner that cleans your pool, and filters the water without putting loads on your filter system.

The Aquabot BJ’s Swimming Pool Cleaner is based on the Aquabot by Aqua Products Inc. but there may be some minor differences in the specifications between the two. Aqua Products has been in business since 1982 and is an industry leader in pool cleaning robotics. The Aqua BJ’s is a self-contained robotic pool cleaner that contains a powerful pump, and filter, which drives on the bottom, and sides of the pool brushing and vacuuming the pool. The Aquabot BJ’s will even clean stairs and along the water line of the pool. The Aquabot is powered through a transformer, which lowers the voltage used for safety, and all parts are ETL listed for safety. The Aquabot BJ’s has a 41’ power cord that plugs into the transformer allowing it to clean 3,500 sq. ft. per hour in pools up to 40’ long. The Aquabot BJ’s is controlled by a microprocessor that controls how the Aquabot moves through the pool even reversing direction when obstacles such as ladders are encountered. The pump provides strong suction to vacuum the pool and the water is filtered through a micro filter, which removes particles down to 2 microns and can hold up to 34 quarts of debris, the filter on the Aquabot is easily cleaned and after the water is filtered it exhausts out through the top in a jet like manner which helps hold the Aquabot against the vertical surfaces of the pool. The powerful circulation of water through the pump on the Aquabot BJ’s helps keep the pool chemicals evenly distributed in the pool reducing the amount of chemicals required to keep your pool in balance and because it also filters the water reduces the filtration load on your pool filter allowing you to save on filtration costs as well.

Using The Aquabot BJ’s Swimming Pool Cleaner is simple and easy to do. Simply bring out the Aquabot BJ’s and its transformer, Aqua Products also makes an optional Aqua Buggy, which can be used for storage and transport of the Aquabot BJ’s making it even easier. Plug in the transformer, and plug the 41’ long Aquabot BJ’s power cord into the transformer. Lower the Aquabot BJ’s into the pool by the handle, then allow it to settle to the bottom, the Aquabot BJ’s only weighs 16.9 lbs. and has only a slightly negative buoyancy so it is very light in water. Once the Aquabot BJ’s is on the bottom of the pool turn on the power switch on the transformer and let the Aquabot go to work. The powerful water jet exhausting out the top of the unit pushes the Aquabot BJ’s against the bottom and sides of the pool as it travels around the pool on directions provided by the microprocessor, systematically scrubbing the pool with its two multi-surface flexi-flap brushes, sucking in the dirt and debris through the offset intakes on the bottom. The Aquabot BJ’s will completely scrub the pool in as little as 3-4 hours using only a few pennies worth of electricity. The Aquabot BJ’s can also be controlled by a separate timer, which shuts the power off after a programmed length of time. Once the Aquabot BJ’s has finished cleaning the pool, simply shut it off and pull the Aquabot BJ’s to the surface by pulling on the power cord, then grab the handle and lift it out of the water. Clean the filter after use by pulling the filter out through the bottom of the Aquabot BJ’s, dumping any loose debris then rinsing the filter clean with a garden hose. You are then ready to store the Aquabot BJ’s until the next pool cleaning.
